"During my time in the salon, I learned the importance of how clients are welcomed. It starts with offering water and tuning into their emotional state—whether they’re hungry or need support in any way. This approach inspired the idea of energy flow, which led to creating a light radiating from the logo. We incorporated graphic elements of plants, shapes, and tools found in the studio to create a visual that harmonizes with the atmosphere."

Behind the scenes of my creative process for a mural commission I worked on through the Humankind project.

It all starts with a visit to the client. I dive deep into the story behind the project—what drives them, their mission and vision, and what makes them stand out. I ask key questions and observe the space closely to capture the essence of it all.

Then I move on to sketching, drawing inspiration from the surroundings and starting to shape the visual direction. If it’s a remote project, I ask for photos of the space or look for visual references from my portfolio or online.

Together, we choose a color palette that reflects the brand’s identity and the mood we want to create.

I love spending time in the space—taking notes, soaking in the energy, and observing how people move through it. It’s all part of making sure the mural feels natural and connected to its environment.

Once I’ve done all that research and exploration, I create the final design and share it with the client.

And once it’s approved… it’s go time! I dive into production, focusing on every detail to bring a piece to life that’s visually striking and stays true to the heart of the project.
